Official Job Title: QA Manager
General Description of Job: This position will be responsible for the QA department including management of the team, all QA and functionality testing of control panels manufactured on site at CP USA.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 8AM-4:30PM.
Duties & Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
• Manages, leads and mentors QA team
• Compares wiring and location of control devices on panel with blueprints and wiring diagrams to verify assembly
• Examines wiring for loose or faulty connections
• Inspect and test control panels for conformance with specifications, following blueprints and wiring schematics
• Test and troubleshoot control panels for continuity and functionality including I/O checks
• Connects leads from panel onto power source leads to prepare for testing activities
• Tests wiring circuits and controls to isolate causes of malfunctions
• Records cause of malfunctions on test sheet and route defective panels for rework
• Create punch list of errors/changes that manufacturing needs to address
• Document test results and maintain accurate test records
• Assist customers with FAT testing as needed
• Provide heavy redline drawings to Office Manager for documentation and record keeping
Requirements
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Electrical wiring diagrams and schematic comprehension
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and/or production drawings
• Basic computer skills a plus
• UL certified a plus
• OSHA certified a plus
