Control Panels USA (CP USA) is seeking a Safety & Training Manager to lead companywide safety, employee training, fleet, and facility maintenance programs. This role develops and maintains safety policies, manages training initiatives, supports regulatory compliance, oversees inspections, and advances continuous improvement. Working closely with managers, supervisors, and employees, the Safety & Training Manager will strengthen CP USA’s safety culture, reduce operational risk, and ensure training and compliance activities are documented accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage CP USA’s safety and training programs in support of operational goals, employee development, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with management to assess training needs, set priorities and frequency, and ensure required topics are completed on schedule.
- Research, interpret, and monitor applicable OSHA and workplace safety requirements; train employees on relevant standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and maintain training materials, course syllabi, agendas, presentations, standard operating procedures, templates, logs, and safety documentation.
- Schedule and deliver training for appropriate employee groups, accurately documenting attendance, completion, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain the company training matrix to track required training, completed courses, renewal dates, and compliance gaps.
- Create, assign, monitor, and update Paycom training modules for onboarding, compliance, recurring safety requirements, and ongoing employee development.
- Conduct or coordinate jobsite safety assessments, pre-bid risk assessments, and inspections; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Visit external customer sites to evaluate working conditions, coordinate site-specific safety requirements with customers, verify that required controls and procedures are in place, and support compliance with CP USA, customer, and regulatory safety protocols.
- Oversee safety inspection processes and ensure the appropriate personnel or inspectors complete inspections on time.
- Communicate safety expectations, corrective actions, and compliance updates to managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Manage fleet vehicle maintenance, including routine inspections, service schedules, documentation, and repair coordination.
- Oversee facility maintenance by coordinating preventive and corrective work, managing vendors, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare management reports and updates on training status, safety compliance, inspections, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties, assignments, or projects as requested by management.
Working Conditions
- Regular travel to external customer facilities and jobsites is required to observe work, assess hazards, and coordinate compliance with site-specific safety protocols.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in active industrial and construction environments, including exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, noise, dust, uneven terrain, and other changing site conditions.
- The role may require climbing and working at heights, including the use of ladders, platforms, scaffolding, lifts, and approved fall-protection systems.
- The role may require entry into or work around confined spaces in accordance with applicable permit, monitoring, ventilation, attendant, rescue, and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Employees must follow CP USA and customer safety rules, complete required site orientations, use designated personal protective equipment, and stop work when an unsafe condition is identified.
